Study Expenses & Financial Aid

Although study expenses for a study program in Germany is moderately affordable, living expenses for leading a student life in Germany is fairly expensive. The main living expense involves in affording the rental part. Different types of accommadationthat can be availed in Germany are:
  • For a single stay 'Flat-sharing' accommodation can be reasonably priced and is widely recommended accommodation as well.
  • Apart from the flat-sharing accommodation, there are other stay facilities such as University-residences and Estate agents exist in Germany for which the stay expenses may vary according to the comfort level.
The German government has established the 'Federal Education and Training Assistance Act' to guarantee trainees a minimum of financial support. To be eligible to receive the state assistance, students must be under 30 years of age and prove that their parents are not capable of supporting the student's university education related expenses. Financial aid and scholarships for a study program in Germany are available to all competent students from international countries and students are advised to search and seek for such aids from different resources such as those related to the concerned higher educational institutions of Germany.
